YVO has been conducting awareness campaigns on conflict and resolution, enabling community members to translate the knowledge, attitudes, and values they gain through this learning into action. It promotes the development of a wide range of skills that help people effectively address the challenges of everyday life. These include skills for cooperation, negotiation, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, coping with emotions, self-awareness, and risk awareness.
Session Methods: A booklet developed by YVO has been used for learning. Participants share their own experiences of conflict resolution and encourage one another to find solutions. They also disseminate what they learn to their families and communities. The session methods include lectures, presentations by participants, group discussions, group work, and role-playing.
